Crime on The Rise in Jenta Adamu Area of Jos North

It has become alarming the rate of crime and criminality being perpetrated in recent times in Jenta Adamu of Jos North.

this annihilate belligerent bellicosity and criminality keeps happening freely on a daily basis in that area even during the day by juveniles less than 18. Phones are snatched freely at gun points, people robed of money and valuables in daylight, shop burgled and robbed with little or no resistance, all the residence now live in fear and panic.

these gang of criminals and hoodlums have appeared to be too strong and above the law because they are known and still walk about freely extending their operations to West of mines at night.

I call on the Nigerian Police and all security agents to quickly tackle this gangsters before they become national menace.

COVID-19 LOCKDOWN IN PLATEAU STATE: A REMINDER. In view of the Executive order issued by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. PRESS STATEMENT COVID-19: PLATEAU STATE GOVT BANS EID PRAYERS

In view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Plateau State and in furtherance of the Resolutions reached at the Plateau  State Security Council Meeting presided over by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Simon  Bako Lalong, Government wishes to intimate the citizens of the following decisions particularly as it relates to the forth coming Eid-el-Ftr Sallah celebrations: 1. That all Eid praying grounds across the State shall be closed to all worshippers. This is line with existing ban on all large public gatherings in tandem with the directive of  the President-General, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs His Eminence, Sultan Mohammed Abubakar that all muslims should suspend congregational Eid Prayers and pray at home. 2. Where prayers are observed in mosques, they should abide by the regulations for not more than 50 persons, hand washing, use of sanitizers and social distancing.  3.
