I Support Total Lockdown Of Plateau State

Kano people said COVID 19 is a hoax and refused to take stringent measures.

Despite the governor of Bauchi state being infected with COVID 19, Bauchi refused to close its border but allowed free movement and trading.

Now, the results of these decisions are glaring

Those against the closing down of Plateau borders and lockdown should be marked as adversaries of Plateau people.

Plateau State and indeed the Nigerian state is in dearth of manpower and medical facilities to tackle Coronavirus explosion.

Experts have said about 45million Nigerians might die of this dreaded disease if Nigeria does not confront it with every seriousness.

Stay Home, Stay Safe.

    Sir note that the lockdown was a good measures but that was not the ultimate reason for our survival, safety and lack of index case. It is absolutely the hands of God, we must not take away the doings of God in all of these lest we become ungrateful people. Ungratefulness is an act of wickedness and is punishable by the law of God. Do not take glory to yourself or to the government. Which lockdown are we talking about self, is it the same one that the security men on the boarders are collecting toll gate fee for cars that comes from different parts of Nigeria? Or is it the one that is been used to loot poor Nigerians. If that is the one you are referring to as our saviour, you have total failed. Our saving grace on the plateau was God and Him alone. Nothing else.

COVID-19 LOCKDOWN IN PLATEAU STATE: A REMINDER. In view of the Executive order issued by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Simon Bako Lalong, KSG, Executive Governor of Plateau State, I wish to remind the citizens of the state as follows: 1.  That the lockdown which is now a standing order, begins a second past 12.00 midnight of Sunday 31st May, 2020 till 12.00 midnight of Wednesday 3rd June, 2020. 2.  That the curfew imposed on the nation by the President and Commander In Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, between the hours of 8.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m., is still in force and should be adhered to. 3.  That All passes earlier issued by the State government are no longer valid from the 1st of June, 2020. PRESS STATEMENT COVID-19: PLATEAU STATE GOVT BANS EID PRAYERS

In view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Plateau State and in furtherance of the Resolutions reached at the Plateau  State Security Council Meeting presided over by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Simon  Bako Lalong, Government wishes to intimate the citizens of the following decisions particularly as it relates to the forth coming Eid-el-Ftr Sallah celebrations: 1. That all Eid praying grounds across the State shall be closed to all worshippers. This is line with existing ban on all large public gatherings in tandem with the directive of  the President-General, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs His Eminence, Sultan Mohammed Abubakar that all muslims should suspend congregational Eid Prayers and pray at home. 2. Where prayers are observed in mosques, they should abide by the regulations for not more than 50 persons, hand washing, use of sanitizers and social distancing.  3.
