Relaxation Of Lockdown And Its Consequences

It is no longer news that the president has said he is reviewing the total lockdown on the Nigerian state but permit me to say expressly, he is ill-advised.

In the wake of COVID 19, the president has addressed the nation 3 times,
On the first address, there were 111 cases and one death and he locked down 3 states.
On the second address, there were 343 cases and 10 deaths, he said 'COVID 19 is not a joke but a matter of life and death' and still maintained the lockdown.
In his last address, we had 1273 cases and 40 deaths, the president decided to ease the lockdown.

The decision to relax the lockdown clearly may be as a result of pressure from the masses on hunger and poor compliance on lockdown order.
The government appears overwhelmed and has decided to leave everyone to his fate.

Let me tell you what will happen...
Businesses will resume in full swing
Social distancing advise will be jettisoned
Level of contraction and infection will  multiply
Our hospitals and isolation centres will be overwhelmed
Doctors and other health workers will disappear
People will be left to themselves and in their fate
And God forbid Nigeria will record mass casualties as previously projected by experts.
Permit me not to mention the figure because it is truly scary.

My thoughts!
