I Disappointed Myself’: Fani-Kayode Apologises For Harassing Journalist In Calabar Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has rendered an unreserved apology to a journalist for the verbal harassment he meted he meted out during a recent press conference in Calabar, the Cross-River State capital. Fani Kayode also apologised to the Nigeria Union Journalists, family members, friends, and colleagues of the Daily Trust reporter. D'Banj Rape Allegtion Is True But Settled The Lady With $100 Says His fmr Mgr

Franklyn Amudo, who is the former manager of Oyebanjo Dapo also known as D'banj, has come out to corroborate the claims of Seyitan Babatayo, he lady who accused the music star of rape. Babatayo had alleged that D'banj raped her in a Lagos hotel in December 2018, a case that has since drawn attention and scrutiny. To corroborate Babatayo's claims, D'banj's former manager Amudo has come out to say that he was aware of the alleged incident how D'banj slept with the lady against her wish but later settled her with $100 and pleaded with her to conceal the act.

The immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, has died at age 70 after battling coronavirus-related symptoms for a month,   Ajimobi, who was governor from 2011 to 2019, was named the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the ruling All Progressives Congress last month but never resumed. " id="primary"> The former governor was hospitalised at First Cardiologist and Cardiovascular Consultants Hospital, Lagos on June 2, 2020. He was said to have tested negative for COVID-19 but the illness had caused his health to deteriorate.

Plateau State Threaten Another Total Lockdown

The Plateau State Government says it views with grave concern the rise in the rate of infection of the Corona virus in the State following the ease of lockdown exercise. This it says is essentially is due to the flagrant disregard to the laid down protocols as it affects this dreaded monster, by a sizeable population of the State. The Government therefore warns that it will not hesitate to restore the lockdown earlier lifted by Governor Simon Bako Lalong as it views with dismay the non-compliance with regards to the wearing of face masks, social distancing, hand washing and the use of sanitizers.
